Birthday Party

Each year in August, we take a little time out to celebrate the opening of the Museum—along with Katharine and Orville Wright’s birthdays—with cake and juice.

Cake and juice are free to all comers—but in 2005, anyone who told us what dihedral was got free admission, too.

Baroness von Richthofen

History comes alive as our Museum Curator, Rosalie Dunbar, . . .

. . . impersonates the Baroness von Richthofen, . . .

. . . inviting us into her “parlor” . . .

. . . and telling us about her famous—or infamous—son, Manfred, the Red Baron.

The Red Baron.
